San Draw

Introduction

Silicone 3D printing company that provides an alternative to silicone moulding for prototyping and small-batch manufacturing.

Overview

San Draw, founded in 2014 in Silicon Valley, is a silicone 3D printing company. They have developed the patented Fluid Additive Manufacturing (FAM) technology, which is specially designed for 3D printing LSR silicone and RTV silicone. With its technology, San Draw is able to 3D print silicone materials in customized shapes with separate layering at one-tenth the cost of competitive solutions. Therefore customers can save lead time and cost of tooling in product design, prototyping, and small-batch manufacturing.

While silicone elastomer has applications across many markets, San Draw has identified medical trainer products and orthodontic functional appliances as the most attractive segments where the availability of a customisable silicone elastomer opens up new high margin applications and disrupts existing suppliers. San Draw launched clinical skill trainers as their first 3D printing product in 2018. Its realistic texture and durability made it a popular product in a short period of time. The product has been adopted by more than 30 medical and nursing institutions in Taiwan. In 2019, San Draw launched the S1 Silicone 3D Printer, which provides Enterprise customers with a more economical way of prototyping and small-batch manufacturing.
