GD1’s team culture embodies hard work, professionalism, a strong belief in what we do, and a shared commitment to finding and securing the most interesting and worthwhile investment opportunities.
We are audacious and mentally agile, able to be responsive and creative when problem solving, structuring deals and looking for viable opportunities. We are passionate and invested for the long term, we partner with our founders to become part of their team – and they become part of ours – to build future wealth as we help grow NZ brands into international businesses of size and value.
We are futurists!
Within our organisation we value the different perspectives and background of each team member, enabling creativity of contribution and the formation of well-rounded, versatile and effective solutions. The GD1 team benefits in this regard by having significant diversity in age, gender, education, professional expertise and backgrounds from various parts of the world. Team members have experience as former company founders and owner/operators, early stage angel investors, high profile venture fund LP’s, hedge fund and investment banking analysts, and we are all active members of society (parents, home owners, property investors, volunteers etc).
We love what we do and we have fun doing it!
